Sky Blue Babydoll Pumps

Too small for my giant feet, but too pretty not to share!

I stumbled upon these fairy-tale shoes the other night here, in the adorable Etsy shop, Jitterbuggin'. There are  also some pretty fantastic little pinafores and suspender-y things in there, too (like this little number).

I don't even know what "theme" this ensemble was about (because I, like many others, sometimes dress in theme/character) - maybe impractical 1930's huntress?

I love rust and that particular blue together, though I think the cardigan and collar would look just as swell (or more) with a more demure skirt (like a simple grey pencil) too. And I never realized til' this season how beautiful some brown shoes look with black stockings! I've been pairing these (my favorite shoes) with simple black tights for months now, and it's nice + versatile.

This outfit was from November - before I didn't need a proper overcoat every moment of the day. Now, just a few weeks later, it's a hat, scarf, and gloves plus wool coat every time I leave the house!
