And now for the final portrait in the Alice quartet - the curious moppet herself:
Alice 11"x14"x1" Acrylic on canvas
There are lots of patterns in this collection of portraits - that was an important element for me. Here Alice has wallpaper covered in drowsy daisies, which serves as a very Alice-esque counterpoint to the Queen's red/white roses.
Her hair is mussed up in just the way one's hair might be if one had just fallen down a rabbit hole. And a pink pinafore for my Alice - a switch-up from the blue that has become traditional.
This completes the portrait quartet that started the series, but there is still a lot more of Wonderland to share!
Unrelated - I am excited for my great pal Ryan B.'s opening of his new solo show, Spectacularcade tonight! It's at ye olde Grass Hut, in its new-ish location inside Floating World. Those Berkleys will surely make it a festive and spectacular time, as per usual.
Happy Thursday to you!
