This is how I found the furbaby a few days ago:
He has taken to tucking himself into bed (and apparently, he's not alone - I laughed so hard when I saw this post).
This is the "Leave me alone, mom! Geez!" stretch.
Miette has come to embrace our "human sleeping technology" so much that I'm pretty sure that tops his "Things I'm Thankful For" list this year.
Which brings me to the things I'm thankful for today: this little feet-warming furbaby, a practically perfect partner in crime, kind and clever friends, a brave and true family, a fantastic and whimsical job (which is fantastic even when it's 70 hours-a-week), our health, wonderful books, warm and pretty clothes, airplanes, hot cocoa, soup, and blanket-forts.
And last but not least, the generous, encouraging people that visit me here, and have over the past four years. I love sharing new work, snippets, inklings, and meanderings with the sweet and clever folks that come here.
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
xoxo
