Lately I've been working on a small group of paintings loosely involving October-ish, Halloweeny things. I love this season so much, and while I don't love the traditional orange & black color scheme, I do love masks and candy and black cats pretty fiercely.
This is the first finished one - I've been working on it for weeks and I'm so happy to be able to share it now:

Josiah calls it "This is the last time I go to a party at David Lynch's house", which is perfect.
This probably gives a bit of a window into my notions about social occasions.
I do wish they'd all leap up and dance to the little red radio.
