Acrylic and gouache on wood plaques 7"x9"x1" (each)
I wanted to share these sweet little boogie-ers with you - they'll be a part of Monday's shop update! I am pretty smitten with these two. I think they'll be finding their way onto at least one sort of paper product. Yes indeed!
And reading about everyone's Halloween costumes is so much fun! It made me reflect on what my costumes have been in the (semi-recent) past. Hmm...Let's see.
2002 - Siouxsie Sioux (aka my normal goth-girl clothes plus insane hair)
2003 - Spooky, Alice-type living doll (again, my normal dress/petticoats plus forlorn makeup)
2004 - Marla Singer (Probably my favorite costume to date. More crazy hair. I altered a thrifted dress. One guy recognized me at a bar and said quizzically: "Marla?!" It made my night.)
2005 - Little Red Riding Hood
2006 - Victorian Vampire (that was kind of a cop-out year...I moved back from NY two days later)
2007 - Bonnie Parker as played by Faye Dunaway (Josiah was Clyde Barrow)
2008 - Violet Baudelaire (Josiah was Klaus)
2009 - Francesca the pneumatic robot!
