Hey, thanks so much for all of that crazy-nice talk about the "Nest of Stars" drawing. I really can never guess what people will respond to...it's always, always a surprise for me. Thank you!
Speaking of kindness, the Storque-peeps are doing a series right now on the "most hearted" Etsians, and I was pleased as punch to do a (very) little interview. It can be read and clicked through right here. Ashley's (way better) one is here. Mine (the interview) is so mini that I kind of feel bad...it only provides about 30 seconds of reading. I thought that all the features would run at once, so I just blithely rattled off a few sentences!
There is a little showcase of more Etsy items I enjoy included...here's a peek:
Anyone who feels moved by the spirit to send me that two-headed-bunny ring, please feel free.
And while we're on a heart-shaped tangent, this is the little pile of Valentine's things I assembled to make my "real-mail" Valentines:
As you can see, I'm really kind of a traditionalist. I love red-foil hearts, what can I say?
The thing I was most excited about out of the bunch are the Edgar Allan Poe stamps.
Nerdy stamp excitement alert!
Lastly, but most importantly, a lovely reader named Cindy emailed today to fill me in a bit on some Crafty relief that's going on for these terrible Australian fires that have ripped through Victoria. You can donate a listing, or directly to the Red Cross. I'm pretty sure I'm too simple to figure out how to rig up a listing, so I think I'll be making my donation direct.
