I wanted to drop you a note and tell you that last night I my little 6 yr old niece and I fell in love with your dolls. We got the pattern from Martha and a few ours later she had a sweet doll of her own. It was such a joy to make that doll and brought such a big smile to Miss O's face (mine too!). I just can't wait to make more :)
Thank you for sharing your creativity and talent. You are so inspiring!

Boy, I think I must be really tired, cause I completely read the title of this post wrong, and thought "cheesecake?" "Why would she NOT want to eat cheesecake?" I dwelled on that much onger than I should have...
On a more sane note, I love your "boy doll". Have a great trip to Philly. oxo

I love your dolls! As a dress-maker I think I should expand my sizing chart to the smaller sizes for them. :) Not that they don't already have the cutest little outfits sewn on! But I can just see them in my peter pan collar gatsby dress!!

My city! It is a great place. Great art, great neighborhoods, cool peeps. Northern Liberties is a cool artsy area. Great store: Art Star (you probably already know about them).
Also, check this place out: Pure Yum!

Since Philly's my home town, I had to come out of lurking for this: For the best apple dumplings, go to the Dutch Eating Place at the Reading Terminal. You can get them warmed, to go, and then get a scoop of cinnamon ice cream on the side from Bassett's. Welcome to Philly!

Philadelphia is a FUN city! The street cars are amazing and old-timey...cool art & the "get it done" east coast vibe sans the overwhelmingingness of NYC & the political powersuits of DC. Have a great time! (And I hope the weather shapes up for you- it's one big chilly puddle in the capital right now.) Safe & Happy travels! =^.^=

maybe no cheesecake, but you HAVE to go to Capogiro to get some gelato. It is my favorite treat here!
