Ghostie
I've been playing around with making some little sculptures recently, and I thought I would show you a ghostlet (these have been making the rounds, both in my sketchbook and in plush form here) ...
I think he's saying "Oh my goodness! I'm so happy that these two reached Portland safe and sound."
Also, in the shop now are the newest prints from the images included in the last update..."Snow, Rose + Bear", "Creeping Corridor", etc.
Dinner guests tonight, and straightening up the studio to do.
See you soon!

what is he made out of?

Hi Love the dolls first saw them on MARTHA and would love one to come live at my house in Toronto (might need a scarf and woolly socks) when are there going to be more in the shop? I have visited often but there are never any there??

Oh very cute. (My first thought was of White Stripes, "Little Ghost".) I think I'd like to have one hidden in the pantry or behind the sofa or something.

Hi!!
You moved to Portland!! How exciting! My son and daughter-in-law live in Beaverton and we have been out to visit a couple of times. It's great-especially the MAX. If you didn't try Mother's when you were sampling the city fare, make sure you check it out. Super Yummy! I hope you love it there. I am so jealous because I live near Houston and I am tired of the heat and humidity.
Love the Ghostie. I'm still trying to make a doll purchase, but last update I had jury duty-agh!
Blessings, Grace

Oh, what a cutie pie ghost! Is he paper clay? I've been experimenting with various clays lately,too....I'm still not sure if I like polymer or paper clay better.
:)
Happy ghostee-sculpting!

Why do you keep making things even more irresistibly cute than before!?! You know I've always loved your work but you are on a roll. And you're super sweet, but you know that : )
I am determined to make the LONGEST game of phone tag end this week too.

Oh he is so cute, I'm scared of ghost but he can haunt me anytime :P
I love the teeth, they are so funny. What material did you use, it almost looks like a plush?
Posted by: LadyYing | May 04, 2008 at 04:13 PM
Did you use sculpey?
I have a habbit of coverind the eyes and pretending that cheeks (or nostrils) are the actual eyes. It makes for a funny face.
:) it is lovely!
