Three Boys, a Girl, a Ghost, etc...

I was finally able to photograph all of the dolls that are completely finished. So, you guys can get a look at the "boy modification" of the regular small-dollie pattern:

Boys_all
Cute n' Handsome, right? Those girls have been needing some company. I think the little gingham-guy on the left is my favorite...but maybe that's just 'cause I favor the raven-haired.

Also, here is a one-of-a-kind girl doll  I've been working on. She is lucky (and cool) enough to have a pet ghost (who can be attached or detached to her arm by way of a little loop of felt on his backside):

Ghost3
Ghost2

She has "legs for days", as the saying goes. I'm really happy with the way she turned out...there might be more in the future, with a few minor tweaks here and there, but for now, she is the only one of her kind.

And here is a little "Hollywood Squares"-ish peek at the girl-dolls that will be in the update on Wednesday:

That's all for this doll-happy post! See you tomorrow with more goodness for the update.

Aww, so sweet! I love their pillowy texture too :)

Lovely addition to your already lovely collection. I look forward to seeing some of more of your recent additions!

Hi, Emily! Wow! That was quick! This time, I am a happy black apple... I can't believe I actually secured the doll with the ghost in my cart! Thanks for your work once again.

Anna

Little Miss Long Legs and her ghost are delightful!

The Doll with Ghost is FABULOUS!!!! Love her!

The hats! Oh, the hats. Just adorable.

They are all so blooming cute! And the pet ghost idea is SO clever!!!!

that ghost..

Cuties! I love the elephant fabric!

Ahhhh...I love the little boy dolls! I wonder if my baby Oscar needs one for his room.

I also love the long-legged girl with the ghost! The sweet little ghost is 'cute scary' and not 'crazy scary'

Love your stuff. I love how everything is so cohesive in terms of style and preoccupations thereof.

Oh the insanity! Great color combos on these here and the one with the ghost is a real charmer.

Get your airplane goggles on tomorrow Emily because things are gonna f-l-y with the update! 8)

The boys are cute! I was wondering how to mod your pattern to make one for my son, who loves "babies". I'll have to try it out.
The legs on that doll are fabulous! And the ghost, what a quirky and sweet touch. Your creativity and imagination always makes me smile.

fun! The little boys are awesome. The elephant shirt is so sweet. Well everything is really. I must say the blue haired doll is my personal fave. Thanks for sharing a sneak peek!

oh I love the boy version too cute.

Hi Emily! I just love your new doll with her adorable stripey long legs:) Looking forward to your shop update!! xo...jenn

All my friends and relatives are having boy babies, and I have felt so forlorn about it--I want to make dollies for them, and I am cursing myself now for not figuring out you can make BOY dollies. Duh. Or you can give a boy baby a girl dolly. Duh. What kind of feminist am I? Thanks for nudging me out of my 1950's stupor, Miss Emily. You thought you were just making craft, but you were changing the world one doll at a time. ;-)

How incredibly and positively delightful Miss Emily! Now how to work out about being quick on the button come D-Day!

Cheers
Rita

Ooooooooh I LOVE the ghost and the legs!

The pink haired doll is my fav. So cute!

oh my gosh the little lads are adorable! and the pet ghost? ack! how do you come up with this stuff? it's wonderful, all of it.

i have been reading you forever it seems but as a lurker. i just wanted to say hello.

gasp! I want the ghosty!

The ghost is fantastic! I just love your ideas + sensibilities.

As a girl who has always been the freakishly tall one since kindergarten...let me just say thank you for the "legs that go on for days." They made my day full of finishing art projects for finals SO much better! :)

They just get better and betterer! :D I love the girl with the rusty hair and the red and white spotty body. I agree, the ghost would sell all on its own!

the blue hair lady and long legged are my faves

Yay! So cute, love them.
The girly with the friendly ghost friend is so cute, I want her!

I'm loving the doll with the ghost!!! Approx. how big is she and I'm assuming she will be more ($) than your regular sized dolls?

...love the little guys!
They're all cute!

Hope you having fun getting ready for your shoppe update.

I'll be back tomorrow to see what else you have up your sleeve ;)

*Happy Monday*

Your dollies are adoreable and just what my granddaughter would love...I think the little ghost could be a little bird or a little monkey...wow, you could go nuts!
