New Postcards are here!...
The Flora and Fauna set is now available in the shop. They look beautiful, and make for such a vibrant collection of images!
On a personal note, thank you all so much for all the support I've received over the last few days.
It made all the difference in the world.
I started out trying to thank each of you for your notes of kindness, but the response was so big I eventually accepted defeat with replying to every one. But know that they helped buoy me up...the wonderful stories, openness, advice...all of it was taken to heart and so, so appreciated.
Happy Weekend, everyone! You Applets are an amazing bunch.

I love-love-love your work as do my daughters...it's pure flights of fancy...beautiful and courageous work...keep it up...there are ::SO:: many more of us out there that are grateful to get a peek into your creative spark...the girls are saving up for some of your prints for their walls...love it when we have the same taste!

I think your art is beautiful and lovely. It inspires me to create new things and dream new dreams, knowing that there is another soul out in the world who sees things in the light of an entirely different sun...
Thank you for sharing your soul with the world...

Emily, your art and your dolls are amazing. I love reading your blog and you truly are an inspiration! I think a flickr group for the dolls is a great idea. I have 5 of them cut out and ready to sew tomorrow, and I can hardly wait to display them!

I simply adore you, and feel very defensive toward the comments that won't be mentioned. I put in my very first Black Apple purchase a couple days ago, and look forward to many, many more. Please keep blogging! I have just recently become devoted, and your wisdom and vignettes (I could become incredibly verbose here) are such a sparkly treat.

Hello Emily!
Even though you have had many tell you these, I will not hesitate to say that you are a true true inspiration to me. I will not even begin to say how upset I am that people would want to say hurtful things to you. But all I can say is that you should keep doing what you are doing, try not to be put down by mean people stay your happy sweet self that all of us love to read about each and every day. You motivate me to not give up!
I hope it all works out soon
all the best

Emily - This is where your true creative style lies - no one could ever try to recreate your style or feel for emotion in your paintings - I have been reading your recent blogs and I did watch your ep with Martha - I have been really feeling for you over the last few posts and really didn't want to post a comment as - to many cooks spoil the broth - but your true talent lies in the paintings, which I am assured you know - and don't ever be discourgaed as that is only want the lesser people want!! - You are an amazing talent for your age. Just keep up the passion and keep up your artistic expression through your painting and prints

Glad you are feeling better. Rag dolls are not original, but I could spot a Black Apple Rag Doll from a mile away. Your style is very distinctive! That's why you have so many fans! This place is one in a million!
