Stitches on the wall
I really love this semi-new little cluster in my bedroom:
Most of the embroideries are from this amazing Etsy shop. She will make you a custom, beautiful little embroidered initial if you'd like, and she also has other designs that are very pretty (like the moth, cloud, and squirrel). I made the two others (and the cameo isn't embroidery at all).
Possibly my favorite quote of all time (which shouldn't come as a big surprise):
I got the oval hoop at a thrift store, and I have a few more that I'm planning on using to "frame" some fabric swatches for the studio.
Happy Friday!

i love this quote! and i love the cluster.. i have a little cluster on my teeny tiny wall but yours puts it to shame,
love your work and your blog! have a wonderful night, good wishes from scotland :) xox

Have you heard the Nada Surf cover of "There Is a Light That Never GoES Out"? It's MAGIC.

NO WAY!!! That duck you have hanging up there is a dish towel hanger. My mom used to have one of those in her kitchen when I was a kid. Ah, memories!

It is a very nice idea to hang them. They look very nice, I like the blue you have in the walls.

That song has been a favorite of mine since I was a teen..I'm now 37 and it still takes me to a happy melancholic place. Perfect quote among a nice display.

That is my favorite Smiths song. I absolutely love that, and now have an overwhelming need to master embroidery.
