Monday

We were in Nashville over the weekend, visiting two of my favorite people.
And I bet you didn't even notice I was gone!
I love Meg's "what-I-did-today" posts, and find them very comforting...so I thought I'd do one today.
*
-Woke up spooning a small grey cat
-Check/write emails
-Showered
-Blocked the new beret I made for my mama's birthday
-More internet-ing
-Help Josiah with print orders
-Lots of laundry (much of it accumulated whilst visiting friends in Nashvegas over the weekend)
-Lunch with J at favorite burrito place
-Big grocery shopping trip
-Continued on muffin-making kick, baking these (which turned out wonderfully)
-More internet-ing
-More laundry
-Long, chilly walk with J and our great friend Robert
-Make crab cakes and veggies for dinner
-Eat dinner with J + R
-Finally confirm that Flight of the Conchords is indeed hilarious
-Drawing in sketchbook on the couch
-Consume muffins
-Blog
-Read current issue of B*tch
-Go to sleep

Adorable bunny... I had to look closely to make sure it wasn't real! I love burritos too.

Your fave burrito place doesn't happen to be Barburritos? That's my favorite in Athens!

Oh, man! Next time you are in Nashville, holler!

I was just in Nashvegas for the very first time. Loved lower Broadway with all the colorful bars. Had dinner at Jack's then listened to bluegrass at Layla's Hillbilly bar.
Lot's of fun!

Sounds like a busy day, but a fun day :) Oh the lemon poppy seed muffins sound yummy!

I love your little list of things you did!! :) Hmm... now I'm thinking how fun it would be to keep a book of daily-lists just for myself. 'Cause I have the worst memory about the little things that happen during the day!
Those muffins sound so good! I really need to bake something to nibble with my afternoon tea...

For some reason if I wrote the same thing it just wouldn't seem as interesting..kinda in the same way I always think that the grass is greener on the other side.
I shall check out Flight of the Conchords :)

So I'm going wrong by writing a what I *should* do today list! I never end up doing half of what's on there, and do another load of things that were never on there! A what I did today list seems a much better idea!

I did notice you were gone! I was waiting eagerly for a new post! Thanks for the What I did Today list. It's nice to know what you're up to.

Hahaha...Flight of the Conchords...yesss!!! The David Bowie episode is hilarious. I am moving to CT soon and will (hopefully) be stopping by Memphis and Nashville on the long drive over. I've never been there. Any suggestions?

Aren't you a busy little bee! I felt so satisfied by your days activity. I heart Jemaine!

Thank you so much for your advice on print-making. Without help from other etsyians I'd never figure anything out.

Flight of the Conchords are hilarious, I love the hiphopopotamus! Your work is really cool, Emily, I've been skulking around your blog for ages, and am only just brave enough to comment. Have a great week!

As a Kiwi and regular reader, I have to add more NZ love to this. Emily, you seem to have quite a devoted NZ readership... the wonders of the internet age!
Viva la FotC! Fou de fafa!

yay! i love reading these as much as writing them. i'm nosy about other people's lives. not in a scandalous way, but more in a "how do other people go about their days compared to me" way. now i want to make crab cakes and watch some more "flight of the conchords"...

A little group of us do monthly day-in-the-life posts. It is really interesting to see what people get up to even if it is only mundane things!
