Somebunny loves you...and me...and my mom

I made my mama this little one for Easter:

Actually, it looks like somebody loves the bunny, too! Or maybe Miette just really wanted to smell those paper flowers...

I had SUCH a nice little break, and now am ready to be busy, busy, busy (which is good, because I need to be!). I got home yesterday evening to find a very big package on my doorstep. This is where "somebunny loves me", because this is what my sweet friend Kate sent to me:

A  print Gocco! And supplies!
Oh my goodness...I have been wanting one of these guys for so long. I cannot wait to try it out and make all manner of Black Apple-ish things with it...I'll be sharing my mishaps and (hopefully) triumphs with it here! My awful screen printing "experience" will not get me down. No sir.

She enclosed this insanely lovely Carson Ellis card (who I know is her favorite artist). Actually, I think it was Kate who informed me that Ms. Ellis is, in fact, a girl. I previously thought she was a boy. Silly.

Maybe the best part of the whole thing was the way she addressed the package.

YOU are "Incomparably Lovely", Miss Kate.
Thank you so very much.

Well, happy Spring/Easterly/Rabbity times, my dears!
Because of the cold snap, it is about 40 degrees here right now and I'm going to be full of soup for the rest of the weekend.

Truth be told, I'll actually be full of more than a few jelly beans by the end of tomorrow.

I'm sure your mom loved that little bunny!

Lucky girl! Have fun with that new Gocco- and please share your new creations with us!

Such a cute bunny. You should check out this blog entry called "never eat red carrots" when I saw it, for some reason it made me think of you little creatures.

Peggy

hmmmm I'm mildly jealous. And honestly I do want a gocco, but since it has been discontinued in the US, I've been hard pressed to find one (except ebay-uggh). Is there still a source for these buggers out there?

Your mom will be so happy with her little bunny!

Happy Easter, one day late!

xoxo

What a sweet Easter missive for your Mama! I set to work on Saturday making a pompom bunny ala Jennifer Murphy for my dearest Mom! I made my dad decorated butter cookies as he is more fond of edible sweeties than the needle felted or pompom sort! : ) You lucky girl....oh, to receive such amazing mail! And that bowl is SO CUTE! : )

Happy Easter, Emily! What wonderful work you do - that bunny is just adorable, and I hope your mom really loved it today!

Also, really cute and funny how Miette was sniffing bunny's flowers. Silly kitty!

Your new icon is so sweet! I love the color combo. Did you make your hat? Too cute. And, of course, I love these little treasures you have created. :o)

i love that teeny bunny. happy easter!

That bunny is SO, SO lovely! I can't wait to see what you come up with on the Gocco!

Yay Gocco! I finally gave in to my lust for one and ordered it the other day :D *squeals of excitement* Glad you had a good break

I can't wait to find out how you feel about the Gocco--I _almost_ bought one (or had Santa buy me one) at Christmastime but just wasn't quite sure. I know you will be--as you always are--generous with details, and then maybe I'll get one for my birthday!

i am in love with that bowl. where did you find it? etsy?
what a lovely friend. which gocco is it? i've been considering one as well.
happy bunny day to you!

What a lovely gift! Have a happy Easter! Enjoy the jelly beans, I know we will!

such pretty things, I love your jelly bean bowl. Enjoy the gocco, I've wanted one for years, but worried about cost and availability of the supplies. I'm excited to see what you do with yours :)

happy bunny-day, and do be assured that you will have wonderful luck with the gocco. i'm a bit of a spazz and I've had fun and relatively few stressy moments with mine (some good advice is to put the ink in the refrigerator if you're printing something small with lots of details, it helps keep the ink lines from bleeding). Anyway,i'm sure you'll make wildly beautiful things with it and I can't wait to see!
