...Miette, the hedgies, and me.
Clearly, kitten torture at my apartment has taken the form of stuffing Miette in the new totes against his will. It isn't just me, one of my dinner guests this evening also popped his little fluffball body into her new hedgie tote as she was leaving.
Anyway, this cute animal-cruelty photograph is to let you know that the last of the hedgie totes are up for grabs, (most of them appear to have scampered away over the weekend) and then there will be no more. For the time being, at least...I'm not sure if I'll repeat this image on another run, not because it's not darling, but because I like many different images to grace buttons, bags, and the like. Hop quick like a bunny over here to the listing, if you need one in your life!
Whew.
Almost all of the orders from Friday's update have been successfully packed, signed, sealed, the whole shebang...and safely delivered to the post office between last night and this afternoon. My two best helper elves went with me for a PO run before going to the movies last night for this ridiculousness. It was...pretty funny. Not super deluxe funny. But worth seeing if you are bored and want to go see an absurd, over the top, mostly funny movie.
Today I had such a good day...errands seem so fun in my new car, it's magic. And I also made a really good dinner of my own recipe for what I call minestrone soup, but is actually a hodgepodge of red wine, tomatoes, zucchini, ground turkey, etc. It is so good, perfect for any-time. I also made a loaf of this bread, and I went easy on the sugar and a bit higher on the salt...I also included two big ol' sprigs of rosemary from the ENORMOUS bush in Sara's garden at her new house. It was super tasty and easy, but I think next time I'm going to also substitute olive oil for vegetable and even MORE rosemary! Yum.
And now I make a break for it...a tiny, few-days-long-break (I seem to always need this after the shop updates). I'm taking yet another load to the P.O. in the morning, and then hitting the road (in my new cute car! Ugh, it's gross how excited I am about driving it) for a wee visit.
Happy Monday!

I hope the week ahead holds good stuff for everyone.
