Makebelieve Tea Party
I'm finally ready to make my entrance at the lovely Risa's pretend tea-party. Hop over to her blog to see who else is on the guest list so far! I feel so geekily happy that Risa thought to arrange such a silly and adorable blog-land day.
Me for the day, wearing one of my favorite dresses:
And my little corner of the tea-table (I know that chocolate chip cookies are a bit rich for tea-food, but I was just too in the mood to bake them to ignore it!):
I love my enormous blue teacups so much..last year's Anthropologie. Do you see how it dwarfs my sugar bowl? Alright, enough fun for me...I've got to get back to work with enormous amounts of packing/shipping. Working the mail-room is always a dud.
Happy Friday, my dears!

Are there any chocolate chip cookies left? A crumb would do... my cupboards are bare.
take care, g

I am expecting to see the Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit in the background ensconced in deep conversation. Maybe they will come next year.

Lovely as expected. Love your tea cup...How charming of you, to use a tea cup that dwarfs the sugar bowl. You can never have to much sugar now...

`Have some wine,' the March Hare said in an encouraging tone.
Alice looked all round the table, but there was nothing on it but tea. `I don't see any wine,' she remarked.
`There isn't any,' said the March Hare.
What is a party without wine exclaimed Janet!!!!! So glad to be sitting on a table with you sweet one xxx
