Last night before heading off to bed I posted the new set of Autumn Isobels:
And then I woke up, and they are all gone, except for the lovely little bandita-costume girl in the middle! She's still in the shop. And both of the dollies gone and two of the yesterday's drawings! Goodness. Thank you, thank you!
"Squirrel Present" painting is also newly right here , so they way things have been flying away, I would hop like a bunny over there if you love her! I do love long and skinny paintings...I don't know why. I think I've waxed poetic about this before. I also love black squirrels, since I saw my first one (at least the first that I remember) a few months ago and was instantly smitten!
I'm, of course, taking a trip to the P.O. this afternoon (EDIT: I am a moron. Thank you, thank you kind readers who informed me of this day called "Columbus Day". Otherwise I might have pulled what I like to call an "Ashley G")
So now I'm just going to be continuing the happy productiveness of my busy-making-things pajama-day yesterday, which was actually very conducive to being a good employee of the Black Apple! I ended up watching "A Room with a View" (so strange to see the H.B.C. at, what, 19?) and also...waaay down the spectrum "4 Little Girls", which is a documentary that Spike Lee made about the Birmingham church bombing/the civil rights movement at large. Both films were very good...if a bit strange for me to be painting/crafting to.
I feel like baking this afternoon. Maybe cookies?
I also feel like stitching up a doll, but alas and alack, I am freshly out of stuffing (doll-guts).
Happy Fallish Week! Off we go...
