Here's Harry, the new, bigger Hedgie plush, since his post has apparently vanished!
He's here.
Since Typepad was having...."difficulties" for the better part of the afternoon, I had to wait to show the beautiful contents of the "cheering up" package I recieved the other day from the lovely, lovely Kate. Kate has two littles, Nora and Henry, and the three of them joined forces to send me a happy package! Can you believe how wonderful our whole world is? Kate read about some of the crummy and hard times I've been having, and they wanted to send me something to help me cheer up....and cheer abounded!
Here are the cards I recieved from the kids (a bit of a bird theme throughout all of them!)
I love these so! They're tacked right above my workspace now...
This is Kate's card, which is incredibly beautiful (though, she didn't design it herself, as Henry and Nora did).
It's from Nikki Mcclure, via buyolympia.com (a store love).
This beautiful cigar box....
I heart.
Inside....so much sweet vintage sewing loveliness! So much red and polka dot and just so blasted sweet.
There is a glittery "Ruby Red" bubble bath tablet as well, which I am so excited about using.
A bit of a better picture of the lovely trimmings.
And here's a little drawing for Wednesday's send-off:
She's right here.
I love her.
The cursive reads: "I spent a lifespan with no cellmate".
(lyrics by Interpol)

PS: Did everybody catch the first episode of the new "Project Runway". Holy Moley, people around this apartment are pretty darn excited. I have a crush on A.) The punk boy & B.) The girl that looks like my cuter, blonder, more scandanavian sister. And I'm so glad that the girl who got kicked off went... I like, so hated her from the "preview episode" (chuckle).
