Mood Fabrics!
Oh my goodness, I had such a fun afternoon...Sarah and I went to Mood (better known as the Project Runway fabric store) and I got such lovely, lovely stuff. I am so used to buying fabric (and everything else for that matter!) online, that it was so nice to just be able to touch and see the fabric with my own two eyes. It was a little on the pricey side, and there was much rummaging and sifting, and heavy bolt-carrying, but it was so great.
I got some lovely cotton and cotton-blend prints:
I'm so excited about the green apple print and the hungarian folk prints...and...oh...all of it.
These are the beautiful tapestry-weight fabrics that I got:
Here are some larger images of my favorites:
In closing:
I am such a dork for fabric.

I hope everybody is having happy weekends!

the fabrics you bought are lovely!
i never realized until today just how pricey good fabric really was.

Lovely fabric! I have had to curb my fabric spending lately so I am living vicariously through you right now.
Good job on the quilt by the way - the colours are wonderful.

Where is mood fabric? Everytime I walk to work I pass Parsons and look around expecting it to be right around the corner, but I never see it.
Great Finds!

Oh fabric dorks are the best kind *smile and wink*. All though I don't really think that you are a dork, just an enthusiast and a lovely one at that. Look at all of this delightful fabric ... who wouldn't be enthusiastic?
